Sculpta Sweden 24-29 juli på House of Helsinglight: En konstfestival utöver det vanliga

Sculpta Sweden July 24-29 at House of Helsinglight: An art festival beyond the ordinary

From July 24th to July 29th, the quaint village of Vattlång will be pulsating with the heart of art as House of Helsinglight welcomes the art festival, Sculpta Sweden. This unique art festival, which launched last year in Sweden, is an anticipated annual event that finds a new location for artistic creation each year. This year, we are proud to be the hosts of the festival and also to participate as artists in the festival.

Sculpta Sweden offers a week of artistic inspiration where artists will create their works on-site, thereby giving visitors a unique insight into the creative process. However, the festival is more than just an exhibition of artworks. It's a tribute to various unique art forms, from detailed patterns carved into bone, to wooden sculptures shaped with a chainsaw, pottery crafts, metal artworks, and traditional blacksmithing. But Sculpta Sweden is not just a place to witness art - it's a place to experience it. As a visitor, you will get the opportunity to interact with the artists, understand their creative processes, and who knows, you might even learn something new.

Adam Bradley also participates in Sculpta and sculpts using a chainsaw.

Tatum Kempers and Rick Kup (from the Netherlands) create joint art installations during Sculpta

Kent Klint Engman also creates art with a chainsaw during Sculpta Sweden.

Anja Tellin creates metal artwork during the Sculpta Festival.

Those not pictured are potter Nicklas Bergström, who will be creating clay crafts, and Fredrik Thelin, who will participate with iron forging.

Petra Shara Stoor, (House of Helsinglight), will be participating in the festival and sharing her unique work process with skeleton art. As a skeleton artist at Skulls & Bones Artwork, Petra transforms bones into works of art by creating detailed patterns and decorations, resulting in art pieces that are both beautiful and thought-provoking. Her work challenges the boundaries of conventional art and bears testimony to, and honors, the life that once was.

Opening times

For those wishing to experience the artistic process, our opening hours are: Mon - Fri, 10 am - 3 pm. On Saturday, the 29th of July, we wrap up with an art exhibition open from 10 am - 5 pm. The address is Vattlång 114, Nordanstig. We look forward to welcoming you to House of Helsinglight this summer, located in the picturesque Vattlång Valley. More than just a place - it's our creative home and our school under development. We hope that you'll enjoy exploring our world of art, and perhaps you'll discover an artist that touches your heart in a special way. Who knows, maybe you'll find a piece of art that finds its way home with you. See you at Sculpta Sweden!
